Interesting. Maybe the enemy that we need to confront is here
in Sleepy Joe's mind. The threat is on our soil. Those that would enable Russia (and embolden China). Those that would have us be less influential and prosperous. Those that would lay waste to our institutions and traditions. Those that refuse to compromise and govern to address our real issues.
If you believe those threats are real (I kinda do based on what I've seen lately - sadly enough), then maybe you don't need to sit in a circle and sing kumbaya, you need to get people to understand what's at stake and move. Not saying that's right or wrong, but was his goal to unify? That question, in isolation, is kinda useless. It implies that unity was the goal. If it was, it seems he failed, but it presumes and answer without really posing the question. And so what? Are we to assume we're looking for a unity candidate right now? Are we to assume that the other guy is that candidate? Without context, the data is meaningless and the conversation useless.
But I know you love this shit. This is clickbait for the "reader" that doesn't want to think.
